Rick Perry Prays

The Texas Governor Rick Perry is initiating a Prayer Rally tomorrow in Reliant Stadium of Houston Texas. But controversies has been accompanied with his good will, one of those is whether an official must start such an event in which he violates the separation of church and state.

According to his video in Response’s website he said "As an elected leader, I’m all too aware of government’s limitations when it comes to fixing things that are spiritual in nature. That’s where prayer comes in, and we need it more than ever". He also said that “with the economy in trouble, communities in crisis and people adrift in a sea of moral relativism, we need god’s help.”

Perry is known to be a religious person and he said that there are no hidden political agenda in these events that he's been hosting.  But according to some reports he invited some of his fellow governors to attend yet no one committed nor confirmed to be attending. In line to that, most people thinks that its a campaign for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination.

On the other hand, Perry is also known to have injected his own stem cell during his spinal fusion surgery last month. He also advocated and wanted his own governed state to use of adult stem cells in medical treatment.
